AI Disclaimer
Effective August 20, 2026 · Version 2026-08-20
The plain-English version of the most important thing in our Terms.
JobCamHQ uses artificial intelligence. AI can be wrong. Always verify its output yourself before submitting anything to an insurance company — or acting on it.
What the AI does
When you use JobCamHQ, AI generates things like:
- Damage findings and severity labels on your photos and videos
- Scopes of work drafted from your voice narration
- Transcripts of your audio
- Roof and elevation measurements and takeoffs
- Data extracted from carrier estimates and other documents
- Material visualizations (AI-edited images of what a repair could look like)
What that output is — and isn't
- It is an assistive estimate: a fast first draft meant to save you time.
- It is not professional, engineering, legal, accounting, or insurance advice.
- It is not an inspection, appraisal, or claim adjustment, and JobCamHQ is not a licensed adjuster, inspector, engineer, or architect.
- It can be inaccurate, incomplete, or flat-out wrong — it can miss damage, invent damage, mis-measure, mis-hear, or mis-read a document.
What you must do
- Verify before you rely. Check every AI finding, measurement, transcript, and extraction against the real photos, the real roof, and the real documents.
- Verify before you submit. Anything that goes to an insurance carrier, adjuster, customer, lender, or court is your representation, not JobCamHQ’s. Submitting unverified AI output as fact can expose you to claim denial or fraud liability.
- Use professionals where required. Where a licensed inspection, engineering opinion, or legal review is required, get one.
The legal effect
This disclaimer is part of the Terms of Service (see the AI section, warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability, and indemnification). Using JobCamHQ’s AI features means you accept that responsibility for verifying and using the output is yours.
