Privacy Policy

• Account information — name, email address, company name, password (stored as a hash by our authentication provider), and team membership.
• Photos and videos you capture or upload, including their GPS location and EXIF metadata (capture time, device info), which we use to organize media onto the right job.
• Voice and audio you record for narrated walkthroughs and scope-of-work dictation, and the transcripts generated from them.
• Documents you upload, such as carrier estimates and PDFs, and the data extracted from them.
• Usage and device data — logs, IP address, browser type, and actions taken in the app, used for security and to keep the Service working.

• To provide the Service: store and organize your media, place photos on jobs and maps, generate reports and share links.
• To run the AI features you invoke: damage analysis, transcription, scope generation, document extraction, measurements, and visualizations.
• To secure the Service: authentication, tenant isolation, fraud and abuse prevention.
• To communicate with you about your account and the Service.
• We do NOT sell your personal information, and we do not use your jobsite content to advertise to anyone.

The Service runs on a small set of vendors. Your content is sent to them only as needed for the feature involved:

• Supabase (on AWS, US region) — database, authentication, and file storage for all account data and media.
• Vercel — application hosting and content delivery.
• Anthropic (Claude) — photo/video damage analysis, scope drafting, and document extraction.
• Deepgram — audio transcription.
• Google (Gemini) — material visualization images.
• Resend (when enabled) — transactional email delivery.

These vendors process data under their own security and privacy commitments; we may update this list as the Service evolves, and material changes will be reflected on this page.

We keep your content while your account is active. If you delete content, or delete your account, it is removed from the live systems, with residual copies aging out of routine backups. Share links you created stop working when the underlying content is deleted. Operational logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes.

• Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
• Row-level security enforcing tenant isolation — every company's data is walled off from every other company's, and we verify this continuously with automated tests.
• Leaked-password protection and minimum password standards on sign-in.
• Access to production systems is limited to the operator of the Service.

No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by law.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA; EEA/UK residents have them under the GDPR (our legal bases are performance of contract for running the Service and legitimate interest for security). We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA.

To exercise any right, email jlane@roofkingco.com. We will verify the request and respond within the timeframe required by the applicable law. EEA/UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

JobCamHQ uses only the cookies required to keep you signed in (authentication session cookies). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Jobsite photos can incidentally capture people, vehicles, or neighboring property. You are responsible for complying with any consent or notice laws that apply to your recordings — see the Terms of Service.

The Service is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
